Sheffield United Girl's Centre of Excellence was established in 1999 and is now one of the largest Girls Football Centre of Excellence in the country, accomodating approximately 200 players from Under 9 to Under 17 age groups.

The centre aims to promote girls football to the highest level by meeting the highest aspirations of all players, by providing excellent facilities, highly qualified and experienced FA Coaches and resources.  The centre draws on the skills and experience of a variety of people, the coaching, medical, welfare and administrative staff.  It is not only committed to the development of players but to the development of its staff to ensure that you are given the best opportunity in the right environment to have fun, learn and develop and achieve the best you can be.

I wish you every success.

Julie Callaghan
Centre Director
(1999-2010)

Julie Callaghan set up the Centre of Excellence in 1999 and achieved much success over the eleven years she was Centre Director.  The above statement was written by Julie and we as a centre of excellence will continue with the same ethos.
